Is it a Communicating Device with Outer Space?

This is an amazing gadget I got from a drug store in Japan.

I was wearing this device on my wrist on Newbury Street last week, visiting boutiques.  Almost every sales agent noticed it and commented how cool it was.  Is it a watch? No.  Is it a communicating device? No. Is it a mirror? a contact lens case? a bomb? a make up foundation compact?  a fragrance transmitter? a heart beat counter?

Guess what?  It is a mosquito repellent.  You plug in a small disc and a tiny fan distributes a small amount of chemical (Metofluthrin), operated with two triple A batteries.  It works for me!!!
