This is the garden I designed in 2000. It is the 39th block in MM(Minato Mirai) District in Yokohama. It is now called " MM Towers", next to the Keiyu Hospital.
I had a chance to visit this site on my recent visit to Japan. It is well maintained and the trees have grown to establish an Urban Forest, as intended. Hard to believe this is all on a structure, meaning there is an underground parking below this garden. I still love this simple solution of concentric circles which creates a dynamic framework for the circulation system and the garden spaces, with out "quadranglizing" the garden.
